JAMES TOLAN is author of the poetry collection Mass of the Forgotten (Autumn House)and the chapbooks Red Walls (Dos Madres Press) and Fresh Fruit and Gravity (Far Gone Books). His poems appear in such journals as American Literary Review, Atlanta Review, Bellevue Literary Review, Fairy Tale Review, Gargoyle, Indiana Review, Ploughshares and Verse Daily as well as a number of anthologies, including the Autumn House Anthology of Contemporary American Poetry. He is co-editor of New America: Contemporary Literature for a Changing Society (Autumn House) and a Professor at the City University of New York/BMCC. www.jamestolan.com
