REVIEWS
“Erotic. . . . A substantial collection, written in a voice that is consistent without being predictable. . . . Words are made flesh in these poems. . . . Smart but not pedantic, sexy but not simpering.” --Chicago Tribune
"Intelligence flashes, winks, gleams and dances everywhere in this book, along with human compassion, full and precise sensuousness, an acknowledgement of appetite, and a knowledge of history."
--Alicia Suskin Ostriker
"There's a hunger in the world for these poems."
—Gregory Orr
